Rules

The whole rulebook, on one page.

This is every rule we have. If something isn't written here, it isn't a rule. The version you sign up under is the version that applies to you.

Rulebook version 1.0. Frozen for every trader at the time of purchase.

1. The evaluation

Every account starts with a two-step evaluation on a demo account.

  • Step 1 asks for an 8% profit target.
  • Step 2 asks for a 4% profit target.
  • There are no time limits, no minimum trading days, and no minimum number of trades on either step.
  • Pass both steps and we open your funded account at the same size, usually within one business day.

2. Drawdown limits

Two limits apply to every account, at every stage. Both are shown in your dashboard in dollars and update with every trade.

  • Max drawdown: 10% of your starting balance. If your equity falls 10% below the starting balance at any point, the account closes.
  • Daily loss limit: 5% of your starting balance. It resets at midnight platform time. If your equity falls 5% within one day, the account closes.

Both limits are static and calculated from the starting balance, so the numbers never move on you. On a $100,000 account the max drawdown is always $10,000 and the daily limit is always $5,000.

3. What you can trade

  • Major and minor currency pairs, indices, metals, and crypto.
  • News trading is allowed. You can open, hold, and close positions through any release.
  • Weekend holding is allowed. Positions can stay open through the Friday close.
  • EAs and automation are allowed, as long as the strategy is yours and follows the rest of the rules.

4. What you can't do

These are the only prohibited practices. They exist because they abuse the demo environment rather than show real trading skill.

  • Copying trades between multiple Duskline accounts, or trading opposite sides of the same instrument across accounts.
  • Exploiting demo pricing errors, feed delays, or platform bugs.
  • Letting anyone else trade your account, or trading someone else's.
  • Using third-party commercial signal or copy-trade services as the source of your trades.

Nothing else about your style is restricted. There are no consistency rules, best-day caps, or lot-size scoring.

5. Payouts

  • The profit split is 80/20 in your favour, from the first dollar of profit.
  • Your result for the week locks at Thursday's close. Your share is sent every Friday by bank transfer or crypto (USDC or USDT).
  • There is no minimum payout and no payout fee.
  • If a payout is ever delayed or held, we send you the specific reason in writing within 24 hours.

6. If a rule is broken

  • Hitting a drawdown limit closes the account. Profits made in that account are not paid out, because the account did not survive its rules.
  • A closed evaluation can be restarted with a new fee whenever you like.
  • If a prohibited practice from section 4 is found, the account closes and we explain exactly what was flagged. You can always reply and make your case; a person reviews every one.

7. Fees and refunds

  • Each account has a single one-time fee, from $99 for the $10,000 account to $799 for the $200,000 account. It covers both steps.
  • There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.
  • An unused evaluation can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, as long as no trade has been placed. Details are in the refund policy.

8. Account scaling

Funded accounts are reviewed for scaling on a regular schedule. Traders who stay profitable while respecting the limits can have their account size increased, up to $200,000, with the same rules and the same split on the larger balance.

9. Changes to this rulebook

The rulebook you purchase under is frozen for your account. If we publish a new version, it applies to new purchases only. We never change the rules on an account that already exists.
